“My Reiki journey started in 1997 when I received an attunement for Usui Reiki Level I and II. It was an amazing experience to be able to use it for the wellbeing of not only myself but also others through healing. I found the ability to provide distant healing through Reiki to be the most advantageous aspect as it shatters the distance barrier between the provider and receiver of healing. Hence, in addition to spreading Reiki knowledge through teaching, providing distant healing always remained an important part of my Reiki practice.”
Healing is the highest level of vibration. Whenever someone is hurt, or someone is in distress or some difficulty, Reiki can send energy to them as healing. If a group of people combine and send Reiki energy to someone in distress, the healing will be more effective and rapid.
When Sunita Williams was returning from space travel, people from all over the world, irrespective of their nationality, were praying for her safe landing. With these prayers, highest vibrations of love and compassion were flowing from our hearts for her safe landing. With this knowledge, I was always looking for ways to create a system through which some healers can be contacted and brought together to provide healing.
Growing use of rapid communication technology, like WhatsApp, provided me the platform from which this can be achieved, and effective healing can be provided “on demand.” Finally, on July 3, 2017, just after a Holy Fire II Master class, my dream was realized, and a WhatsApp group named “Reiki House” for providing distant healing using Reiki, was created. All my students, who wanted to be part of it were included in the group. The response to the group was a very happy surprise. The students, with great enthusiasm, started sending healing whenever requests were received. Even with their busy schedules, with the request coming to the group at least someone was able to respond right away. Other responses to the request later added to healing. So, the recipient was able to receive healing not only quickly but also received healing manifold. All in the group were pleasantly surprised by the results achieved. I am grateful to my Reiki students for their support and contribution of their time and free healing mission through this group to the seekers.
This group also helps me in guiding and mentoring the students by answering their questions, helping them understand the healing process and letting their Reiki consciousness grow. This interaction encourages them to continue work on their purification and healing as well, and puts them into the habit of helping others too, through Reiki. Being part of the “Reiki House” has provided students opportunity and experience which otherwise is not possible in an individual practice.
