Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian Spiritual Method for healing mind and controlling emotions. It is almost 5000 years old and is basically a prayer based problem-solving technique.
Since 2008, Kumud has been the Director of Reiki India, in
association with William Lee Rand and The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). She is their Karuna® Reiki and Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki representative in India for last nine years.
To facilitate learning of Reiki for students with limited
knowledge of English, she has, with the kind permission of
William Lee Rand, translated all the ICRT Reiki training
manuals into Hindi. Recently, she, along with one of her students, Sameer Bhave, finished Hindi translation of the Holy Fire II / Usui Reiki Master manual and the Holy Fire Karuna® Reiki Master manual. All these manuals are available from www.reikiindia.org.
Kumud’s strength is truth and spreading the fragrance of Reiki
is her mission. To this end, she has been using three paths –
teaching, healing, and using Reiki infused flowers.
Since 2001, when she became a Reiki Master, Kumud has
been actively involved in spreading the knowledge of Reiki
through teaching. With mastery in Hindi, English and Bengali,
she has taught Reiki to countless students and has
conducted training sessions for adults, children, and family
groups.
By adapting her delivery to the level, needs, and vibrations of the students, uniqueness has become integral to her training sessions. One of her creditable efforts has been to develop modalities for training children who have limited exposure and knowledge of the world, and several of her young students have found Reiki very helpful in improving their concentration
and memory and reducing their stress levels. Time constraints do not limit these training sessions. Instead, Kumud places the
focus on giving the best possible training experience and output. Student feedback has confirmed that this approach is
successful and appreciated. She is grateful to her excellent students who are spreading the light and fragrance of Reiki
around the world. Kumud has taught Traditional Reiki, Usui/Tibetan Reiki, and Rainbow Reiki; and is currently
teaching all levels of Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki, and Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki®. Her student base is not only from India, as she has also taught master level students from Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Chile, Egypt, Lebanon, Mauritius, Tajikistan, UAE,
U.K, USA, etc. Since her initiation into Reiki, Kumud provides Reiki healing in both “hands-on” and “distant” modes to people
in need. To make Reiki healing more abundantly available, she utilizes a WhatsApp Messenger group created for her students. Through this social media venue, she guides her students in providing healing, thus watering the seed of Reiki planted
during training. This growing group of students, with everincreasing experience, is available 24 hours a day, seven days
a week to provide free healing to people who request help.
Kumud has developed a unique way of spreading the fragrance
of Reiki and God’s Love around the world distantly – through
Reiki infused flowers and videos featuring these flowers. She
hand-crafts paper flowers and fills them with Reiki energy and
God’s Love. These flowers then radiate Reiki energy for healing
and spreading peace and love. She is the only Reiki master in
the world using this mode for spreading Reiki fragrance. Since the year 2009, her flowers have been featured at the
International Reiki retreats organized by ICRT.
