God’s love is infinite and His blessings are infinite. If we surrender to God and hear His voice, we may see miracles each day. I surrendered my life to Jesus in 1980 after my mother and l received a miraculous healing from Him. My mother was completely healed. I realized what is healing and I also felt God’s Love coming from Jesus, that had the ability to heal all my issues and it filled me with Divine Love. This love had the power of healing all the issues pertaining to our lives. A new life began with faith, love and confidence to go forward as God was taking care of us. Even now, we are in that frequency of God’s Love.
I have been involved with creation of artwork and paper flowers since my childhood as I have stayed close to nature and was taught basic paper flower making using newspapers by my granny when I was in first or second standard. I have immense gratitude for Bia, my caretaker who took me to beautiful gardens filled with flowers when I was an infant.
As time went by, I got busy with higher studies and took other responsibilities of life. I literally forgot all these great things related with flowers. Later on, I learnt flower making steps in a 4 days’ workshop and created flowers. During that time, I used to make lots and lots of paper flowers and mostly I used to offer them in the church to be placed on the altar or use them as a token of gift for all occasions. I do not remember when and how my flower-making stopped.
Reiki came in our lives in 1996 with abundant blessings.
These blessings multiplied in 2001 when I became a Reiki Master. I surrendered my life to Reiki consciousness. Healing took place in a multifaceted manner on all levels of my being. Self-healing via Reiki healed my bent body and my uterine cyst got healed without surgery. In 2010, I received blessings in the form of Registered Karuna Reiki®. I am grateful to my Reiki Teacher William Lee Rand for his continued blessings and spiritual guidance.
One day when I was going through my old photo albums, one picture attracted me and I reached 30 years back when making paper flowers was my passion. The picture that attracted my attention, was displaying my paper flowers which I had made for an exhibition. Filled with joy, I started searching my note book containing steps of making paper flowers and all the materials related to it.
I decided to make a bunch for my altar. Since I had forgotten all the techniques of flower making, I took my note book containing instructions for flower making and thought of making white flowers first which I learnt as the first lesson of flower making in the workshop that I had attended. Till that moment, I had not thought of creating Reiki flowers.
My Special Blessings
I just started this work and I felt a Divine Frequency was merging in me and I could see my outer aura line decked with different types of flowers. I had not seen such beautiful flowers before; neither can I explain their beauty and grace in words. I got a special initiation and blessing from God. I was guided to create paper Reiki flowers and artwork for healing and transformation. The energy and frequency of this power were so high that it was very much difficult for me to hold the energy, In the beginning. I was swinging in this energy and the atmosphere of the room was full of bright light. Divine vibrations were present in the room where I worked and it was charged more than what it gets charged during the time of Reiki attunements. I was overflowing with this new frequency of Reiki. I thanked Almighty for this grace…. I was blessed with a new system of Reiki for my artwork and I was guided to name it as Kumud’s Reiki Artwork / Flowers System of Healing. This was the same frequency and healing energy of God’s Love which we received from Jesus in 1980.
This healing energy and system have been getting upgraded since then and is still undergoing enhancements through my healing artwork/ paper flowers with continuous practice and total surrender to the Divine.
Usui Sensei’s Reiki system is one of the several Reiki systems that were practiced in Japan after Mataji Kawakami published a book on Reiki Ryoho,” Reiki healing and its Effects”in 1919,in 1914,Mataji Kawakami created a healing style ,which he called Reiki Ryoho . Reiki is ever evolving and its new facets explored by dedicated practitioners and masters may lead to development of new Reiki systems as well.
I was guided that through this special initiation l received; whenever l would make a flower it would get filled with the Divine energy of this special form of Reiki, so that it would look alive and have the capacity of healing like a Reiki channel.
l was grateful and was wondering how by creating flowers, I could send healing for different needs. I started making notes based on my inner guidance.
I was guided in a unique way to spread the fragrance of Reiki to the world and after my guidance l never looked back and started my journey with the International Reiki Retreat that is organized by Reiki Master William Lee Rand of USA.
MY Reiki flowers Journey to International Reiki Retreat
I send my flowers every year to International Reiki Retreat from India to USA as a special gift to be placed there to spread love, light, karuna, smile and joy to all at the retreat. Thanks to Reiki Master Laurelle Shanti Gaia for granting me permission to send my flowers at the retreat. l was a bit nervous as to how the healing artwork / paper flowers would be liked by the participants there and how they would feel the energy…
I was amazed, blessed and grateful after the retreat by seeing my Facebook filled with the comments of unknown friends who were blessed by these Reiki flowers and were saying thanks. Now, my flowers are a part of International Reiki Retreat since 2011.

Types of Healing with Flowers
I worked on Self-healing, healing others, healing specific issues, chakra healing, color healing, cellular healing, and so on. This special form of Reiki guided me to make specific flowers for specific issues. For
every emotion I have a tool of Reiki flowers and artwork. Not only to send smile, love, joy, peace and happiness through making flowers but apart from it I found how these flowers were healing anger, worry, depression and any negative emotion which is blocking us and this method helps to release any blocks,
pains, trauma or psychic blockages that are holding us back.
I was guided how to create peace flowers and encourage others to send Reiki energy for world peace.
I also created affirmation cards by placing the images of my flowers along with relevant positive thought patterns for healing.
My Special Guidance to create my Flower’s Garden During the Holy Fire Reiki Master class on Christmas 2014, when I was reading from the manual, “imagine you are going to a beautiful garden “; I received guidance for creating Healing Gardens – not an imaginary garden but a garden made using my hand made Reiki flowers, trees and bushes, all made of paper on my Reiki class altar.
Several such gardens were created for healing as well as for giving instructions to students. Again, in another master class, I was guided to upload videos on YouTube.
In these videos, the flowers created for retreat were used to create the gardens and from these videos, God’s Love was beamed for the highest benefit of all. Some videos with Tagore songs and some with bell music have also been created. The healing energy of my flowers keeps on getting upgraded by God’s infinite grace.
A new system of Reiki comes forth in a full-fledged manner
God was guiding me to create a new Reiki system to spread God’s Love with paper flowers and artwork. I started meditating on it and prayed for guidance. l was able to understand how this artwork will work for self-healing, healing others and spreading God’s Love around; and all these helped in creating the special art of flower making and creating artwork for this class and how the specific flower could be used for healing self and others.
I started this meditation by making new style of flowers which would work for this new form of Reiki healing that utilizes sacred artwork and paper flowers. I was guided to create special flowers which have tremendous healing power and also which would be easier to make so that anyone could learn to make them. I was guided how the specific artwork would be used for sending God’s Love and special healing frequencies all around.
Again, while teaching a master class, I was guided that now l was ready to give initiations for this new healing system. l gave thanks and after the class l gave the initiation of this new energy to my student who came from Kolkata for a Reiki Master class. I told him about my new blessings and asked whether he would like to receive the initiation. He received the initiation happily. We were amazed and blessed by this new frequency of God’s Love in art work .He said, “wow I felt healing light in my palms they are hot now” and when I taught him the specific flower making process which we use for level 1 class of this system, he said that it was the energy guiding him in making the flower and in a minute he could create it .He was filled with God’s Love and blessings now.
It was now time to send flowers for Reiki retreat in 2018 and my new students of this new Reiki system also helped me as they also wanted to spread God’s Love in the retreat with me. They created artwork for the Reiki retreat and I was amazed to see pins with flowers made by my students and other artwork items that were appreciated by all at the retreat. I was told that my art work items have a very special frequency of God’s Love and they felt their joy, healing and smile. This sacred artwork blessed all at the Reiki retreat.
In this new Reiki system, God’s Love is spread around by creating artwork and paper flowers. Through this artwork, one would be able to do all types of healing as you do after learning level 1 and 2 of Reiki.
This artwork is taught in the class through a special initiation so that the flowers that you create have the capacity to do all types of healing.
